Saljoe, designed in 2006 by a group of Raffles Design Institute's product-design-students who called themselves "TNI-AL", is a unique coffe table that aims to attract questions like "How does that work?" and "What is that?"
The coffee table comprises of two table tops. When rotated, the table surface on top acts as a Lazy-Susan, interacts with the snowflake design below, forming different and interesting shapes while enhancing the aesthetic value of the coffee table.
This coffee table is a group project that awarded Merit Prize in 3rd Flip! Competition in Singapore.
TNI-AL is acronym from the names of the designer: Try, Nicolas, Ivan, and Agustinus Leo.
